Terms and Conditions of renting reported below refer to the whole of Greece: Greece Aegean Sea, Greece Continental Country, Greece Corfu, Greece Crete, Greece Ionian Islands and Greece Rhodes.
Driving License
The driving license of the driver who rents a car should have been published at least one year before the date of renting.
Insurance & Responsibility Amounts
The car tenant of DRIVE S.A. has insurance for: a) Death and body damage of third parties up to the sum of € 500.000. b) Material damage of third parties up to the sum of € 100.000. c) Comprehensive Insurance (CDW)
The Comprehensive Insurance limits the responsibility of tenant for car damage. The responsibility of tenant for car damage is limited in the following sums of responsibility:

d) Additional Comprehensive Insurance (Super CDW) Additional Comprehensive Insurance is limited in more tenant' s responsibility for car damage.
The responsibility of tenant for car damage is limited in the following sums of responsibility:

e) Theft Insurance (ΤΡ) The Theft Insurance limits the responsibility of tenant for total and partial loss of car. In case the tenant does not accept the ΤΡ, then he is the person in charge for any total or partial loss/theft and for any damage that is caused by theft or attempt of theft to the car up to the total market value and any plus costs.
The responsibility of tenant for total and partial loss of the hired car is limited in the following sums of responsibility:

f) Personal Insurance (ΡΑΙ) Personal Insurance covers the driver up to the sum of € 15.000 for death, total or partial disability and € 1.000 for hospital expenses.
No Insurance
-
For anything that happens to the car at its transport by boat.
-
For anything that happens while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances.
-
For damage that has been caused by driving in roads without blacktop.
-
For damage that has been caused at the bottom part of car, at the roof, at the tyres, at the mirrors and the aerial place.

For your personal objects found in the car.
-
For accidents that were caused with a driver not declared in the lease contract.
The Damage and Loss expenses of the car are the tenant's responsibility even if the tenant is covered by the insurance of his debit/credit card. In this case, he is responsible for the payment to DRIVE s.a. for the entire cost of repair or replacement of car, which he will then claim from his card.
IN CASE OF ACCIDENT THE CUSTOMER IS COMPELLED, INDEPENDENTLY OF HIS CULPABILITY, TO FILL IN THE STATEMENT OF ACCIDENT, ACCORDING TO THE ARTICLE K70 OF GREEK LEGISLATION.
Snow Chains
€ 3.50 daily, with maximum debit of 10 days. They should be reported in the reservation.
Petrol
The car should be returned with the same quantity of fuel with which it was delivered by DRIVE s.a.
Additional Driver
The cost of additional driver per renting contract and per car category is:

Addministrative Expenses
In case of an accident or fine from vehicular infringement, there exists an additional charge of € 15,00 plus VAT for administrative expenses that will be covered by the driver, independently of his culpability, and will in no case be returned.
Tenant and Driver's Age
Minimum 23 years old for all categories except for the categories F, L and K for which is required the minimum age of 25 years.
Out of Borders Car Transport
The out of borders car transport is feasible with the following terms:

The reservation should be realized after demand and only for the categories A, B, C, D, E, G.

The tenant should be holder of two credit cards.

The tenant should supply the Green Card and have additional Theft Insurance for abroad, under his own charge.

The tenant is compelled to return the car in Greece.

These tenants are charged according to the existent prices of the price list (Tariff Rates).
Note: 2 working days are needed for the acquisition of green card and theft insurance. The out of borders car transport is prohibited for cars of categories F, L and K.
The validity of the Green Card and the Theft Insurance are only for 1 month. If the renting period exceeds 1 month, then additional Green Card(s) should be published with an extra cost. This cost surcharges the customer.
Note: The customer should know that in case the car of DRIVE s.a. has been damaged during its permanence in another country, DRIVE s.a. has no responsibility for the replacement of car with another one.
A written DRIVE s.a. approval is required for the transport of car by boat.
Children Seats
€ 3,50 daily, with a maximum charge of 10 days. They should be mentioned at the reservation.
Delivery - Returns
a) Delivery out of DRIVE s.a. office, inside city limits, costs € 15,00. b) Delivery beyond the city limits, € 0,50/km, (minimal debit € 35,00). c) Delivery / Return beyond the working hours of DRIVE s.a.: € 24,00
Way of Payment
In order to rent a car a credit card is always required (Visa, Euro/Master Card, Amex) and especially for categories L, K, G, for which two debit/credit cards are required, even if the tenant finally pays the cost in cash. Additionally a prepayment is required, equal to the 25% of the total renting price. In case of reservation cancellation until 15 days before the agreement, the entire prepayment is returned. For cancellations less then the 15 days or client's absence, no prepayment is returned.
Vehicular Infringements
The fines and by any chance other consequences burden exclusively the tenant, who is compelled to pay in the corresponding services. Otherwise, he is responsible for the constant sum reported as "Administrative Expenses".
